West End offers solutions for the refurbishment of old, existing systems through to the manufacture of new ‘special hardware’. Our engineering department provides indispensable support in the detailed design and system documentation. The service engineers take care of the installation of our products at your location. If necessary, we can offer long term support for maintenance and repair.

Refurbishment

West End came into being as a refurbishment company for industrial equipment and combustion engines. The refurbishment of existing machines remains one of our mainstays. When we refurbish your production or test resources, West End does more than repair or replace broken parts. In fact, in many cases our aim is to improve the performance of the production resources.

By taking into account the aim of the system, we can even improve performance through refurbishment or modification.

Manufacture

West End is versatile and flexible. Our business is equipped with high end, specialist facilities, including a clean assembly room. West End also has a well equipped measurement chamber with mobile 3D measuring equipment for large and complex constructions. We are also very experienced in highly demanding technologies, such as production for cryogenic systems, or the performance of vacuum tests. This enables us to offer customised solutions for highly specialist, high quality innovation projects.

Detailed design

The engineering at West End is ideally suited to provide the essential detailed design solutions for complex systems. Our ‘built to spec’ services concentrate on the manufacture and refurbishment of high quality machines and systems, including the necessary documentation and working drawings.

Our engineers support the refurbishment and manufacture projects from start to finish, working from the initial calculations right through to the installation and commissioning of complex systems. This keeps everyone at West End directly involved in the planning and quality assurance.

Quality and delivery in accordance with the specifications are the norm for production in Western Europe. West End does what others cannot or do not want to do.

Special manufacturing processes

Thanks in part to its close cooperation in innovations with our customers, West End Machinefabriek has extensive experience in highly specialised products and techniques, such as:
• Manufacture of cleanrooms
• Production of flight simulator hardware
• Performance of cryogenic and vacuum tests
• Various welding and adhesive bonds, including orbital welding.

Of course the West End processes are certified in accordance with the current industry standards.

Our field staff and service

Service for our customers goes beyond simply supplying hardware. For long term cooperation in particular, West End supports you in the commissioning of products we have manufactured. In addition, our field staff technicians carry out repair and maintenance. These on-site services are often of short duration. In some cases, we provide long term on-site support, seconding our professionals to you.
